Kombucha brewery

Njordstorp Kombucha comes from a small micro kombucha brewery on the Njordstorp farm in Värmlands Nysäter, Säffle municipality, which started operations in the spring of 2015 by brewing kombucha. We began to drink Kombucha and use it more and more. In the USA, for example, it is a common health drink, and we learned to make it from there. In Sweden, we then missed “Booch” or “Buka” and therefore started brewing our own. The added flavor ingredients are from our own KRAV-certified organic farms.

What is kombucha?

Kombucha is simply a fermented tea that is filled with vitamins, beneficial bacteria, and antioxidants. We bottle it for you after brewing and may flavor it with our locally grown KRAV berries, herbs, or fruits.

Kombucha consists of a live bacterial culture that can have a calming effect on the stomach and digestion. Thanks to the organic acids and enzymes formed during the brewing process, kombucha can have other health effects, which you can read more about on various websites. Kombucha is rich in B vitamins that help the body absorb energy from food and break down fat. The B vitamins also ensure that hair, skin, and nails remain strong and healthy.

Kombucha is a complex lactic acid bacterial culture that is fermented (brews) with organic tea. During that process, all nutrients are formed.

Drink a Kombucha for breakfast, during the day when you crave something refreshing, or with your dinner. Replenish your body with Njordstorp Kombucha liquid in connection with exercise. An excellent alternative to snacks or as a non-alcoholic choice instead of a glass of wine in the evening. If it is too sour for you, mix in honey or sugar like in regular tea.

The history of kombucha
Kombucha began to be produced as early as 220 BC in China and was then called the Elixir of Life. Kombucha is lightly carbonated, fermented organic tea and is a type of 'Raw food'.

Raw food means that the food has not been heated during production, which ensures that all fresh nutrients remain (the tea itself is not raw but the process afterwards is).
