Field beans - Swedish shelled fava beans
Shelled Swedish KRAV-certified organic field beans with a nutty and buttery flavour. Vicia fava is the smaller variety of broad bean. Field beans or fava beans are perfect for bean patties, falafel, tempeh and hummus.
Cooking time is approx. 15-20 minutes without soaking. They will fall apart if cooked for too long: if this happens, you can use them to make hummus.
