Sharpening of planer blades
Order sharpening of your plane blade/plane knife/machine plane blade by adding the product type you want to sharpen to your shopping basket. Once you have completed your payment, send the blades to our workshop together with your order number (so we know where they come from) or the order confirmation you have received. The knives are sharpened from scratch
We always remove as little material as possible.
We polish them
We oil the knives and check their sharpness.
Only when this sharpening service has been completed are the knives packaged and sent back. Our sharpening service provides a guarantee for the work performed. Transport back to you is added when you go to the shopping basket/checkout, but the cost of sending them to us is not included.
When you submit more tools, you get a discount: 2 items give you -3%, 3 or 4 give you -6% and more than 5 items give you -10% on the total amount.
Send in your cutting tools as follows:
Order and pay for grinding.
Once you have received your order confirmation by email, pack the items you have booked for sharpening in a suitable manner and enclose your details or a printed copy of the order confirmation. A good way to do this is to use several layers of newspaper or kraft paper. Take care to ensure that sharp points cannot pierce the packaging (use a piece of cardboard with extra tape).
We will return your newly sharpened tools within 3-5 working days after receiving your package.
NOTE! If you have a double-sided planer blade, count sharpening on both sides as 2 sharpenings. If you specify 1, we will only sharpen 1 side! Planer blades are sharpened to a sharp edge but are not refurbished unless you select this option. Refurbishment is required when more than 0.25 mm needs to be removed.
