Miso starter kit to quickly begin making miso yourself without needing any extra tools at home. You don't need to cultivate koji spores yourself, and the miso can be fermented/matured at room temperature.
This miso is based on our kōji beans and has a deep flavour, but may take longer to develop.
The kit contains:
- Finished dried field bean koji,
- Description for fava bean miso and
- Container with water trap
To make this miso, you just need to bring it to room temperature.
Makes approximately 600 grams of finished miso.
