Panela sugar

Panela sugar is sugar cane juice that is boiled down to syrup and is not refined afterwards. The important micronutrients and caramel colour are retained. The wonderful taste of a combination of caramel, honey and a hint of liquorice makes this cane sugar a real experience.

Baking and cooking with sugar substitutes
Panela sugar can be used like regular granulated sugar if you want to sweeten your coffee or tea. It can also be used for baking and cooking. Its caramel-like, slightly fruity flavour is perfect for rice pudding, pancakes and cakes.

We use it in our water kefir and it is easy to add to each new batch you make. We also sell it already mixed with dried dates for water kefir.
