The Goodnature A24 Mouse Trap is a mechanical and automatic carbon dioxide trap for controlling both rats and mice. The Goodnature carbon dioxide trap enables non-toxic control of mice and rats.
We use them ourselves on our farm because they are:

How it works
Goodnature traps are slightly different from other pest traps, as they use CO2 gas which allows the trap to reset automatically. They were the world's first, so it's no surprise that understanding how they work is a bit confusing.
It all starts with sniffing
One of the most critical steps in the whole catching process is to provide a bait that your target animal loves to smell. If the lid in your trap does not smell healthy, you will not drum up any interest (no matter how good the trap is!).
Goodnature has developed a specialized long-term lid that, when used in our Automatic Lid Pump (ALP), can be spread consistently over a period of six months. Because it constantly drives out the new bait, it means that the trap always smells good for your pest. The A24 system is an innovative and environmentally friendly way to keep rats and mice out of parks, warehouses, outdoor environments around buildings, plots or in basements, carports and attics. The product is designed for long-term outdoor use.
The rodent control system is mainly intended for professional users such as farmers, municipalities, property owners but can also be used by private individuals who want a long-term, non-toxic and robust solution to mouse and rat problems.
The carbon dioxide trap is easy to install and then kills rats easily and humanely, up to 24 times per change of CO2 cartridge. After the mechanism has been triggered and killed the prey, the trap reactivates itself and is ready for another catch.
