Sharpening of garden secateurs
Order the sharpening of your scissors by adding the product type you want to sharpen to the shopping cart. Once you have made the payment, send the knives to our workshop together with your order number (so we know where they come from) or the order confirmation you received. If you are not sure if we can solve the grinding of a special tool, do not hesitate to contact us here...
Scissors are unscrewed if necessary and re-sharpened from scratch
- We always remove as little of the material as possible
- We polish the scissors and put them back together
- We correct the shape of the scissors if necessary
- We oil the scissors and check their sharpness
Only when this sharpening service has been completed are the scissors packaged and sent back. Our sharpening shop gives a guarantee on the work done. The shipping back to you is added when you go to the shopping cart / checkout but the cost of shipping to us is not included.
When you hand in more tools (not just garden secateurs) you get a discount: 2 tools are -3%, 3 or 4 are 6% and more than 5 are 10% of the total amount at the checkout.
Submit your cutting tools like this:
- Order and pay for sanding.
- When you receive your order confirmation by email, pack the items you have booked for sanding in a suitable way and attach your details or the printed order confirmation. A good way is to use newsprint or kraft paper in multiple layers. Be careful with sharp points that they cannot pierce the packaging (use a piece of cardboard with extra tape).
- If spare parts are needed, we will contact you first (we have original parts for Fiskars / Felco / Gardena).
- We will return your newly sharpened tool(s) within 3 working days of receiving your package.
