Rennet powder without preservatives
Rennet used in the production of organic cheese. Rennet causes whey to separate from the milk, thereby forming dry matter and also helping cheese to mature, as it helps to break down the proteins in the cheese. It is the milk proteins that coagulate with the help of the enzyme.
This rennet is made from calf stomach extract. The result is a product that contains no animal products and has no added preservatives, but has a longer shelf life than liquid-based rennet.
Storage instructions: Store in the refrigerator or freezer. Shelf life approx. 2 years in the refrigerator. Contains milk ingredients. GMO-free.
