Instructions
Prepare Tempeh:
- Cut tempeh into small cubes.
- Finely chop onion and garlic.
- Mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and chili powder.
- Marinate tempeh in the mixture for at least 15 minutes.
- Use about 4 pieces of tempeh per skewer.
Peanut sauce:
- Heat some oil in a small saucepan.
- Sauté onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
- Add peanut butter, water, coconut milk, tamari, ginger, and cayenne pepper.
- Heat on low and stir until the sauce is smooth.
- If the sauce becomes too thick, add a little water.
Cooking Saté:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a grill pan.
- Cook the saté for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Serving:
- Serve the saté with the peanut sauce.
