Tempeh with peanut sauce

Instructions

    1. Prepare Tempeh:

      • Cut tempeh into small cubes.
      • Finely chop onion and garlic.
      • Mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and chili powder.
      • Marinate tempeh in the mixture for at least 15 minutes.
      • Use about 4 pieces of tempeh per skewer.
    2. Peanut sauce:

      • Heat some oil in a small saucepan.
      • Sauté onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
      • Add peanut butter, water, coconut milk, tamari, ginger, and cayenne pepper.
      • Heat on low and stir until the sauce is smooth.
      • If the sauce becomes too thick, add a little water.
    3. Cooking Saté:

      • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a grill pan.
      • Cook the saté for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
    4. Serving:

      • Serve the saté with the peanut sauce.

  • rapeseed oil or other oil for frying
  • 200 g tempeh
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
